Winning Rushmore Casino Live Blackjack Tournaments
Winning a blackjack tournament at Rushmore Casino is simple. The goal is to have more chips than your adversary, or adversaries, at the end of a sereis of blackjack rounds. Your actual chip count is irrelevant, so long as you have the most chips at the table. Winning the tournament will require you to be experienced in blackjack strategy and chip management.
Single Blackjack Tournaments
Rushmore Casino offers single blackjack tournaments 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. These tournaments are broken down into two categories: Head to Head play (MANO a MANO) and Sit and Go (SNG). Head to Head tournaments consist of a 10 round, one on one blackjack tournament in which the winner takes the entire prize. A Head to Head tournament starts after a 10 second countdown once both players have joined the game.
Sit and Go tournaments require at least three players in order to start, and have a maximum of six players at the blackjack table. The Sit and Go tournament lasts for 10 rounds, and begins after a two minute countdown once three or more player join the table. In this tournament structure, the top two players receive prizes. Exact prize amounts differ by tournament, and you’ll be able to see the prize structure in the tournament lobby before joining.
If two or more competitors fall below the minimum wagering amount prior to the final round of a Single blackjack tournament, Rushmore will call a draw between these players and they’ll share any winnings they’re entitled to. Once the starting countdown ends, your tournament buy-in will be paid to Rushmore and you won’t be able to back out of the tournament.
Multi Blackjack Tournaments
Rushmore’s Multi blackjack tournaments are scheduled in advance. You can find them by clicking on the Multi Tournament tab in the games menu. To register for a Multi blackjack tournament, follow stese steps:
- Highlight the tournament you’d like to enter.
- Click on the Register button.
- In the next window, confirm your choice by Accepting or Declining registration.
Multi blackjack tournaments will start within 10 minutes of their scheduled starting times. A tournament director will be on hand to issue the tournament details through a broadcasted message. This will include Tournament Levels. After these levels are established, your tournament seat will be signified by the word YOU on a table ID. If you win your table and advance to a new one, you’ll have to wait for the other tables to finish. Prize purses and their distribution vary based on the number of players participating.
In the case of a tie between two or more players at the end of a series of blackjack rounds, the player who previously had the most chips will move on to the next table. If two players have identical chip counts at the end of the tournament, their payouts will be added together and divided evenly among them.
Multi-table blackjack tournaments can be rather lengthy, and as such, Rushmore Casino does everything they can to ensure a quick pace of play. If a player appears to be slowing down the game excessively, or if his Internet connection appear to be unfit for a multi-table tournament, he may be denied from the blackjack tournament. In addition, players have a 20 second limit on making a decision. If they fail to make a blackjack decision before this clock expires, they will automatically place the minimum bet.
Loyalty Points Tournaments
As you participate in Rushmore’s blackjack tournaments, you’ll earn Loyalty Points. The amount of points you accumulate is directly related to the amount of tournament blackjack you play. These loyalty points can be spent each month on an entry into the Loyalty Points Tournament, which awards cash prizes to its winners. You’ll earn Loyalty Points whether you win or lose at Rushmore tournament blackjack.
Victory Points Tournaments
Victory Points are similar to Loyalty Points, except that you can only earn Victory Points by actually winning in Rushmore’s Casino’s live blackjack tournaments. The more you win, the more points you’ll earn. Each week, Rushmore Casino hosts a live Victory Points tournament, in which you’ll use you Victory Points as a buy-in. The winner of the tournament receives a cash prize.
